My siting will be very similar to the environment of one of my precedent study --- Rolex Learning Centre in Switzerland by SANNA.

In Crysis

I have problem with exporting texture from 3ds mas to cryengine. The materials I used in the model should be a glass exterior wall and white concrete floor. As shown in the render images above.

3XA1 Posters

Two buildings I choose as precedent study are Regium Waterfront designed by Zaha Hadid and the Rolex Learning Centre by SANNA. The function of my building is a shopping mall. The materials I used for this building is light blue glass for external skin and white concrete for the floor and wall.

Inspired from the precedent study, I create this space helps to coordinate the communication and circulation between different stores, area and levels inside the building.

The environment is similar to the landscape of the Rolex Learning Centre. I think this shopping mall should be located in a place which has beautiful natural scenery.

The skin of the mall is made of glass, it allows the projection of the interior space towards the exterior, at the same time that the building capture the scenery framed, creating lines that conjoins the building to the landscape. In this way, people can see the exterior view at any direction inside the building.

To create human movements inside the building, I create a lot of smooth curved appearance individual store inside the shopping mall; therefore I can create more diverse interactions. The lift and elevators allow the communications between different levels.

The submission requirements are submitted in the course folder.

 I'm trying to model  stair or escalator inside the model to create movement inside the building.

Interior

Inspiration of Regium Waterfront is from the organic shapes of a starfish. The symmetry of this shapes helps to coordinate the communication and circulation between different sections of the museum and its other facilities.

Exterior

The impressive concrete surface and the glass window create a fluid space. The building is a perfect rectangle when seen in a plan view, the curves and slopes which define the interior space give the building a totally organic look.

'Human movements are not linear like the way a train travel, but curve in a more organic way. With straight line we can only create a crossroads, but with curves we can create more diverse interactions,' states SANAA.

For my building, to show one of the concept: movement, I would create a space not only has a curves surface and external appearance to reflect movement, but people can also walk in it and create the movement within the building.
