The second building I choose is the Maggie’s Centre Fife.

Section in 3DS Max Renering
The concepts I give to the first building are movement, curve and winding based on the plan of the museum. The paper folding is based on their 3d diagrams which have many curved lines through the museum. The concepts I give to the second building are solid, sharp and polygon. The paper folding is based on the photograph of the entrance of the Centre. After I finished the paper folding, I pick two concepts: 'movement' and ‘polygon’, and combined them together. See the model on the top view; you can see the curve is like the ripple when a drop of water drops into lake. And when you see it on the section, the section gives a irregular shapes, which is similar to the paper folding.

Assignment 1 Feedback:
回复删除The interpreted ideas of your chosen architecture and representations are strong.
The montage layout and manipulation of images used to communicate your interpretation is poorly executed. The montage layout seems to lack thought and careful consideration.
The illustrated digital models are all only basic clay renders. No textures or post editing techniques were employed.
You need to pay attention to the assignment brief. You seem to have produced two separate digital models, whereas the brief required you to converge the interpreted ideas of the paper folded models into a single digital model. Despite this both of the digital models successfully communicate your chosen themes of movement and projection.
